Arnold has been painting for as far back as he can remember. He has lived in Malta since birth and has naturally been influenced in his art by the environment he was brought up in. Arnold says: "I lived in the capital, Valletta, up to the early sixties and my best works are pictures of the shaded streets that criss-cross the city."
